PERSONALIZATION GUIDE

We picked the best-looking spot for each towel style. You can see a preview of your text placement on the product page — but keep in mind, it’s only a preview! The real towel may look a little different.

This guide will help you choose the right font, capitalization, and color based on your text length and style preferences.

Make sure to check out personalization terms and conditions before placing your order.

SIZE & LIMITS

  • Max width: 24 cm (≈ 9.45"). Final size depends on your text and font.
  • We aim for a height between 4–5.5 cm (1.6–2.15"), which looks best on our towels.
  • Minimum height: 2 cm — smaller than that looks too thin or unreadable.
  • Character limit: 12 characters (including spaces).

If your name is longer (9–12 characters), choose a narrower font (like Arial Narrow or Brush Script MT) and avoid ALL CAPS — that helps keep your embroidery tall enough to look balanced and bold.

RECOMMENDATIONS BY TEXT LENGTH

  • Short names (≤6): Futura, Rockwell, Baskerville, Copperplate
  • Medium names (7–9): Futura, Brush Script MT, Rockwell, Arial Narrow
  • Long names (10–12): Arial Narrow, Brush Script MT (mixed case)

EXAMPLES

  • “Catherine” in Baskerville → elegant but wide → around 2.0–2.3 cm tall
  • “Catherine” in Arial Narrow → narrower → around 3.5–4.5 cm tall
  • “CATHERINE” in Copperplate → bold and wide → height may drop near 2 cm

DECIDE ON A FONT

Futura
Simple, geometric, and timeless. Great for a sleek, minimalist look. Works beautifully for all caps or lowercase names, especially short and medium-length text.

Arial Narrow
A clean, condensed font that keeps long names readable and proportionate. Ideal for names closer to the 12-character limit.

Baskerville
Refined and sophisticated with elegant serifs. Best for shorter names or mixed-case text (wide spacing can make longer words shrink too much in height).

Brush Script MT
Casual and flowing with a natural script feel. Works best in mixed case (e.g. “Ella”) — avoid ALL CAPS for this one. Perfect for a softer, more personal vibe.

Rockwell
A slab serif with confident character. Feels modern yet grounded. Great for short to medium names in uppercase or mixed case — just note that it’s a bit wide for long names.

Copperplate
A classic, engraved-style font with strong lines and spaced-out letters. Works best for initials or short names (wider spacing will make long names smaller in height).
