OUR MISSION

We created Wetcat with a simple mission to produce the most authentic Turkish towels embodying the culture and joy of Turkey for everyone in the world.

Growing up my brother and I spent our summers in the coastal town of Cesme, Turkey.

Before Wetcat, we were suppliers. We spent years making Turkish towels for other brands around the world. Good towels — real cotton, real weaving. But every client wanted to know how to cut corners. Cheaper cotton, thinner weave, anything to save a few cents.

We passed our days swimming in the Mediterranean, having fun on the beach with our friends, and soaking up the Turkish sun like a couple of wet cats.

We're not just selling towels. We're sharing a part of Turkish culture with the world, and we think that deserves to be done right.

It drove us crazy. To us, these towels aren't just a product. They're part of a culture — centuries of Turkish craftsmanship, passed down through generations.

So we started Wetcat. A brand where quality and authenticity come first, not margins. Real Turkish cotton, woven on family-run looms in Turkey, made the way it's supposed to be made. Our father still runs our atelier there while we’re growing our brand from Los Angeles so it's very much a family thing.
